Whaaat, Mistrel's making fanart and it's NOT Kim Possible? XD Yeah right, I decided to take a short break and draw somethin' different. After all, May is a usual time for Cars-mania, right? c: *looks around* ...Well, I hope there are still some folks among my watchers who remember the same period in '11 and '12 To those who are new to the subject, here are some related works:

Take this as some weird obsession, I just like to imagine 'Cars' characters as horsies. xD Oh, and Cars haters and 'not-likers'... please, just go by, I'm not interested in "I don't like the movie but this pic is kewl" kind of comments. Also in "ooh it looks like Spirit" ones.

The picture is kinda my remake of the official image by Pixar: [link] *chuckles* I bet it took Lightning a hell of a long time to beat Doc at Willy's Butte |D This pic is also the only reference I used, and mostly for BG, everything else I drew from scratch which I'm very proud of Btw, such backgrounds make me love to draw 'em %) North American deserts = And yep, both Lightning and Doc are Thoroughbreds. I wanted to add some racing equipment like I did in 'Piston Cup Leaders', but it looked kinda excess, so I decided to leave them as-is.

Well, from what the experience from the past years shows, the Cars phase will not last long (a month or two, no longer), so dunworry, KP fans xD Another thing is that my finals are getting closer and closer, so that's kind of my last quality work for a looong time. Dunno if I will have time in June, but I probably will not, so... just lettin' ya know. c:
